Als ich gestern kurz vorm Bette mit der Playse noch kurz im Netz war, hab ich mir auch gedacht... hol's der Teufel klick.

Naja, ganz so hat ers nicht gesagt. Die Typen haben die Tapes echt überall eingesammelt/beschlagnahmt und dann verbrannt. Das erinnert natürlich an die Bücherverbrennungen von einst. Ist ja logisch. Mehr als nebenbei erwähnt "...almost reminds one of..." hat ers aber nicht.

Vor allem diese alte Schachtel, die die Hexenverfolgung (und nichts anderes war das damals im UK) forciert und auf die Frage, ob sie die bösen Nasties gesehen habe antwortet, nein, aber sie müsse sie nicht sehen, um zu wissen, was dort gezeigt würde.

Discs Two and Three: "The Section 3 List"

This amazing list was discovered whilst researching legal paperwork for the original "VIDEO NASTIES: THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE" and finally clears up why so many additional titles were historically considered to be "Video Nasties".

Die Doku rotiert gerade im Player. Interessante Fortsetzung. Deckt u.a. auch Themen ab wie Sammler, Importe, Kopien, die Chucky 3-Kontroverse. Beleuchtet wie schon der Vorgänger beide "Seiten". Beängstigend, dass es im UK sogar mal Bestrebungen gab, ALLES zu verbieten, was für Kinder ungeeignet ist.

Klare Empfehlung.

Das Teil ist echt eine Fundgrube für Grindhouse- und Horrorfans. Neben der erstklassigen Doku finden sich über 20 Trailer aus dem Programm des Labels wieder, die fast für einen Grindhouse-Sampler reichen würden, und 83 Trailer zu den betroffenen "Nasties". Für seine Kohle bekommt man somit ganze 11 Stunden Material geboten!

Sekunde... Wo isser...? Ach ja, hier: 

Wert allemal. 19 Euro für 3 DVDs und die schieren Menge an Material ist absolut fair. Zudem es zu jedem Nasty-Trailer ein eigens aufgenommenes Intro gibt. Vom Infogehalt her Bombe.

Natürlich wird später sicher auch eine nicht limitierte Auflage kommen. Wobei die unlimitierte von Teil 1 aktuell £16.76 (also mehr als der nagelneue Teil 2) kostet...

War gerade wieder so angefixt, dass ich Disc 2 von Teil 1 eingelegt habe (Trailer mit Intros). Großartig. Der Trailer von "Savage Island (Man Eater)" ist spannender als der ganze Film .
