Und dann wohl doch Noomi Rapace...

Noomi Rapace, who played “Dr. Elizabeth Shaw” in Prometheus, is officially not returning to reprise her role in Alien: Covenant, according to director Ridley Scott. This comes just a few months after Scott stated that Rapace would be coming back, although for a minor role. I guess they wrote that part out?

Rapace was the only human survivor from the 2012 sci-fi/thriller, alongside Michael Fassbender’s “David”, who is confirmed to return. Per Xposé, the direct also stated, “We’re still casting the main roles.”

The sequel to the 2012 film, Alien: Covenant will take place 10 years after the events of the first film. Tons of news has been coming out for it over the past several weeks, including that the movie will bring back the xenomorph eggs, face-huggers, and chest bursting that we’ve come to know and love over the years.

Alien: Covenant Will Feature Mostly Practical Effects

One of the most exciting things we were recently told about Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant is that it will have an “old-school” visual style, suggesting that it will aesthetically share more in common with the original Alien than Prometheus. But does that mean the effects will be largely practical? You bet your ass it does!

Speaking with Rolling Stone, star Danny McBride just put a big ole smile on my face.

“Most of the stuff is practical effects,” McBride noted, adding that “when you’re running from an alien, it’s really a dude in an alien suit coming after you.”

This ‘Alien’ is going to be… I’m very excited to see it and everybody in the film was saying this is a film that we all want to see. It’s much scarier than ‘Prometheus’ but it’s got the same sort of scope of ‘Prometheus’. It’s kind of got more of the sort of thriller, imminent disaster feel that ‘Alien’ had, so it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary number one and then again with the massive scope of ‘Prometheus’… Once it starts and the ball starts rolling, it doesn’t let up. It’s really gonna bring chills to the cinema.

Wie man nach 15 Minuten so abgehen kann und von einem "vollwertigen Horrorfilm" sprechen kann Sorry, übertrieben!
Ich freu mich ja auch auf den Film, aber die Kirche im Dorf lassen, was die Journalie angeht.

Ach, scheiss drauf! Ich fand auch Prometheus geil. Von daher freue ich mich so oder so auf den Streifen

Ich brauchte die Journi-Meinungen ehrlichgesagt auch nicht mehr um so richtig heiss zu sein auf den Film!

Ob es nun eher ruhig wie Prometheus wird, eher horrormässig wie Teil 1, fuck sogar actionlastig wie Teil 2 nehm ich mit Handkuss aus dem Alien-Universum von Ridley Scott!! 8)
