Und eine weitere King-Adaption ist auf dem Weg:

--- Zitat von: bloody-disgusting.com ---Jharrel Jerome, one of the stars of Moonlight, has joined the cast of David E. Kelley’s “Mr. Mercedes” series, writes THR.

Based on Stephen King’s 2014 novel of the same name, the Audience Network drama follows a demented killer (Penny Dreadful‘s Harry Treadaway) who taunts a retired police detective (Brendan Gleeson) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.

Jerome will play Jerome Robinson, a high school student who does yard work for Hodges (Gleeson). A good-natured wise guy, Jerome helps Hodges with his computer stuff, and puts up a home surveillance system for him.

Jerome joins a cast that also includes Holland Taylor and Kelly Lynch.

Kelley is writing the adaptation of Mr. Mercedes and will serve as showrunner on the Sonar Entertainment-produced series. Jack Bender (Game of Thrones) is set to direct, and the two will exec produce with Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.

Mr. Mercedes is set to debut in the fall on DirecTV and AT&T U-verse.

Taugt die Vorlage wat?

Thomas Covenant:
Nö, die Hodges Triologie ist meines Erachtens nach schwach.

JasonXtreme:
Nachdem sie gute Bücher immer versauen, kann man hier also auf ne gute Serie hoffen
