He’s been beaten, bullied, and burned… But that’s only the beginning of his story.

We’ve learned via press release that the upcoming documentary To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story, originally teased last year after a successful Indiegogo campaign, has just completed production. Masterfully Macabre Entertainment just put the final touches on the doc, which will dig deep into the life and career of enduring horror icon Kane Hodder.

This in-depth biographical documentary includes interviews with Kane Hodder, Bruce Campbell, Bill Moseley, Cassandra Peterson, Sid Haig and Danielle Harris, to name just a few. Masterfully Macabre Entertainment has revealed that they will present both domestic and international premieres and bring the highly anticipated documentary to audiences around the world.

To Hell and Back is a harrowing story of a stuntman overcoming a dehumanizing childhood filled with torment and bullying in Sparks, Nevada. After surviving a near-death burn accident, he worked his way up through Hollywood, leading to his ultimate rise as Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th series and making countless moviegoers forever terrified of hockey masks and summer camp. After decades of watching Kane Hodder on screen, get ready to meet the man behind the mask in To Hell and Back – a uniquely human story about one of cinema’s most vicious monsters.

While we wait for more release info, check out last year’s trailer.
