Eine bestimmte Szene feiert sich selbst ab und schustert sich gegenseitig die Preise zu. Siehe Echo, Comet etc pp.

Ich wollte es mir letzte Nacht ansehen, bin aber schon gegen halb 1 eingepennt...

Penélope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona hat wirklich toll gespielt, aber mir ist jetzt keine weit überdurchschnittliche Leistung aufgefallen. Heath Ledgers Oscar war meiner Meinung nach eher nen Totenkranz und ein "Spezialeffekt" für die Veranstalltung denn eine Würdigung einer in Konkurenz stehenden Leistung. Milk wollten wir gestern noch schaun, aber das wäre zu knapp geworden mit dem Zug. Wird aber nachgeholt. Ebenso ist auch The Wrestler einfach Pflicht. Mit Slumdog Millionaire habe ich mich noch nicht allzu intensiv beschäftigt, ausser was eben hier im Forum zu steht, aber sieht auch sehr sehenswert aus.

Ich habs mir im Nachhinein angesehen und klar sind die Oscars nicht wirklich ein Garant für gute Filme, einiges fehlte mal wieder, z.B. "The Fall", aber der ist glaub ich schon 2006 fertig geworden.
Ganz cool fand ich die Nominierungen von Wanted (2 Mal) und von Robert Downy Jr. in Tropical Thunder, schon schräg.
Richtig gefreut hats mich für Boyle und seine Crew, Pierre hats schon geschrieben, oft gibt es einen "verspäteten Oscar" (z.B. Russel Crow).
Auch der deutsche Kurzfilmer war ganz cool, es hat mich fast zerissen, als James Franco riesen Probleme mit dem Namen "Spielzeugland" hatte.
Unterm Strich mal wieder das Übliche Selbstfeiern, aber trotz aller Verlogenheit schau ich mir das immer gerne an und drücke die Daumen für meine Favouriten.
