So ne richtig dichte Story gibts da eh nicht also zwingend notwenig ist es nicht, die Vorgänger zu kennen

Dann habe ich da aber zwei andere Spiele gespielt.
Gerade für ein Hack'n Slay Spiel ist die Geschichte doch recht ausführlich und meines Erachtens auch wichtig.

Kratos verkauft seine Seelen an den Kriegsgott Ares
wird dafür jahrelang von schrecklichen Visionen geplagt.
Ares attakiert Athen.
Athene bittet Kratos um Hilfe
Kratos benötigt dazu die Büchse der Pandorra
Ares tötet Kratos und dieser muss durch den Hades
Zurück -> Öffnung der Büchse der Pandorra -> Ares tot
Athene hbefreit Kratos doch nicht von Visionen und lässt ihn auch nicht sterben.
Kratos neuer Gott des Krieges.

Das ist nur die Kurzform von Teil 1.

Und gerade im zweiten Teil nimmt der Zwist mit den Göttern ja noch größere Ausmaße an.
Zeus, Titanen, Moiren, Perseus, Opfer von Athene, Sturm auf den Olymp, u.s.w...


Um die ganze Motivation von Kratos zu erfassen, finde ich die Kenntnis der Vorgeschichte für sehr wichtig.

Von der Seite her gesehen schon aber letztendlich gehts einfach um den Kampf gegen die Götter und da braucht man kein großes Hintergrundwissen 
Das mit der Büchse der Pandorra sollte man aber wissen, wird bestimmt auch im 3. Teil erklärt.

Das ist aber wirklich die "Superkurz-Variante". 

Trotz allem lohnen sich die beiden Spiele auch einfach so, weil sie verdammt gut sind.

Gibt es eigentlich schon nen Termin für Teil 3?
Fand die Vorgänger ja auch super spaßig und ich zocke doch recht wenig.

Ne mich juckt das jetzt schon seit Jahren, nach dem fiesen Spoiler-Ende von Teil 2 wie es da jetzt weitergeht.

Absoluter Pflichtkauf für mich.

Teil1&2 hab ich erst neulich auf der PS3 das erste Mal durchgedadelt, war ok für mich. Weiss man schon, ob sich Teil3 von der Länge her wie zu dessen Vorgängern verhalten wird?

Nein, da halten sie sich leider zurück. Aber die Erwartungshaltung aller Fans ist ja seit dem Ende des 2ten Teils recht hoch.
Glaube kaum, dass sie da jetzt alles verbocken werden.

Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall darauf dem ganzen Götterhaufen jetzt endlich in den Arsch zu treten.

Lustigerweise wurde in D ja nur der erste Teil sachte entschärft.
In einer Szene musste man eine Person in einem Käfig in so eine Feuerfalle schieben und sie sozusagen "opfern" damit sich die Tür öffnet.
In allen Versionen weltweit war dies ein Mensch, in Deutschalnd wurde daraus ein Untoter gemacht.

Teil 2 hingegen kam völlig ohne Cuts nach Deutschland, obwohl der meiner Auffassung nach um einiges derber war.

US-Release Termin ist jetzt offiziell der 16. März 2010.
Die EU Fassung soll noch in der gleichen Woche erscheinen.

Also wahrscheinlich am 17. - 19. März rum.

Dantes Inferno hat bei mir einen ganz schweren Kratzer abbekommen seit ich dieses Video gesehen habe.

Schwerster Schwierigkeitsgrad. Immer nur auf einen Button hämmern. Mann kommt trotzdem immer weiter.

Gut, aber wie lange dauert es, bis man zu der Waffe oder Fähigkeit kommt ? Ist ja bestimmt nicht von Anfang an so.

Naja, da man sich mittels echten Euros im PS-Store ja Seelenpakete zum Aufrüsten seiner Waffen gleich zu Anfang kaufen kann, kann man das sofort machen.

Und die erste Wertung trudelt ein:

OPM UK gibt God of War 3 eine 9/10.

The game is inches away from scoring 10/10, and it's only the familiarity of the core gameplay that makes it feel less than the very, very best. But it's definitely the biggest, and if this is the finale (and the corpes littering the stage by the end of the game suggest it might be), then God of War III gives PlayStation's toughest hero the send-off he deserves.

GOW3 wird fette 36GB groß.

Viel Spaß an alle, die eine 40 GB Version haben, das wars dann mit anderen Spielen 

Wahnsinn, da kann man dann während dem zocken die BR rausnehmen oder wie ? Is ja alles auf Platte  8)

Ne, das ist die gesammte Datenmenge auf der BD.
Über die Installationsgröße ist noch nichts bekannt.
Aber der größte Teill aller PS3 Titel verwendet bisher nur die Single-Layer BDs (bis 25GB) und nicht eine Dual-Layer BD.(~50GB)
