Story:
Veronika is a young, pretty, successful career woman with some personal issues and she decides to take her own life by overdosing on pills and alcohol. She survives the suicide attempt and is sent to a mental hospital where she is told that the overdose has caused a permanent defect to her heart which could that could kill her at any moment and without warning. Now that the death she thought she wanted is imminent, she begins to have a whole new outlook on life.
