    Glass House, The (2001)

    Bei einem Autounfall verunglücken die Eltern von Ruby (Leelee Sobieski) und ihrem kleinen Bruder Rhett (Trevor Morgan). Die Vormundschaft der beiden Kinder erhalten die besten Freunde der Familie Erin (Diane Ladd) und Terry Glass (Stellan Skarsgård). Alles scheint in bester Ordnung zu sein. Die Glasses´ lesen den Kindern anscheinend jeden Wunsch in den Augen ab. Doch nach und nach kommen Ruby Zweifel. Wollen Erin und Terry wirklich nur das Wohl der Kinder oder steckt etwas anderes dahinter ?
