    Hae-won ist in den Dreißigern, hübsch und Single. Sie fährt im Urlaub auf eine kleine Insel, wo sie schon als Kind ihre Ferien verbrachte und begegnet dort ihrer alten Freundin Bok-nam wieder. Diese ist der tyrannischen Willkür der Inselbewohner ausgesetzt und ihr Alltag heißt Erniedrigung. Bok-nam fleht ihre Freundin aus Mädchentagen an, ihr bei einem Fluchtversuch zu helfen, aber Hae-won möchte sich nicht einmischen. Grausige Ereignisse folgen...
