A vacationing detective begins to suspect that the Biblical apocalypse is at hand after being forced to relive the day of the Rapture time and again. Detective David Ramsey (David A.R. White, his wife, and their friends are cruising the Sea of Cortez in a luxury yacht when nearly everyone aboard vanishes without a trace. Confused, Detective Ramsey contacts his captain (Eric Roberts) and learns that the boat captain and his boss may have ties to the underworld. Suddenly, Detective Ramsay wakes up in a cold sweat. Initially determining that it was all just a dream, his relief turns to anxiety when the day begins playing out exactly as he had just envisioned it. Scheint eine Direct-2-DVD Produktion zu sein, US-DVD ist draussen.
Trailer sieht IMHo nicht schlecht aus, wirkt zwar wie ein B-Pic aber nicht unbedingt schlecht.
Ich denke das Ganze steht und fällt mit der Auflösung.

Marco, Gert, All: Ich spreche hier mal eine laute & klare Warnung für euch aus: HÄNDE WEG VON DEM TEIL !

Ich hab gestern mal reingeschaut: Der Film - und ich lasse den Spoiler-Tag hier mal weg - ist nichts anderes wie der brachiale Versuch den Leuten die Bibel in den Kopf zu packen. Ändere dich und lies die Bibel - dann wird alles gut. Das ist im Endeffekt die Aussage des Films.

Ein Religionsfilm mit miesen Darstellern und stümperhaften Dialogen - hoffentlich dreht der Regisseur nie, nie, niemals wieder einen Film.

Naja war sowas nicht auch Aussage von BOOK OF ELI?

Ja, aber da wurde nicht alle 5 Minuten darüber geredet das man die Bibel lesen sollte.
Und es hiess nicht dauern: Les die Bibel, dann wird dein Leben schon gut werden.

Thematisch liegen für mich zwischen den beiden Filmen WELTEN
