    Kurzbeschreibung
    1947: Der Zweite Weltkrieg ist vorbei. Die Besetzung Indonesiens durch die Japaner ist beendet. Doch der Freiheitskampf geht weiter, denn die niederländischen Kolonialherren sind zurück. Amir ist ein junger Soldat, ein Leutnant in den unterentwickelten und zahlenmäßig unterlegenen indonesischen Truppen. Er ist gewillt, zu tun, was getan werden muss, um seiner Heimat endlich die lang ersehnte Freiheit zu bringen. Die Spannungen zwischen Indonesiern und Niederländern eskalieren. Der Kampf geht weiter!
