Zeigt auf der einen Seite, dass Tarantino durchaus unvorsichtig mit den Originalen umging (keine watermarks), aber auch was fuer eine Tragoedie es ist, in welchem Umfang Studios Sicherheitsvorkehrungen treffen muessen. So viel zum Thema, sind ja alle selber schuld fuer ihre leaks
Ausserdem interessante Punkte zum Thema welche Schuld trifft Gawker. Stichwort:

Tarantino likely will argue that Gawker knew the link it posted would direct readers to commit infringement. "Their headline boasts ... 'Here,' not someplace else, but 'Here,' " says the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Los Angeles. "The article … brazenly encourages Gawker visitors to read the screenplay illegally with the invitation to 'Enjoy!' it."

Das ist journalistisch nicht nur unethisch, sondern ich wuerde durchaus zustimmen, dass das ein Fall von "secondary liability" ist.

Der Artikel behandelt das Thema sehr sachlich neutral, beleuchtet beide Seite und bezieht keine eigene Meinung. Lesenswert.

That the Screenplay had merely leaked to a limited number of individuals within the confines of Hollywood was by that point already old news, having already been reported by Gawker and various other news outlets. Gawker solicited and obtained a theretofore publicly unknown link to an anonymous download site that was storing and distributing to users infringing PDF copies of the complete copyrighted Screenplay. Gawker then fabricated another, new “story” that the script had been made publicly available online solely so that Gawker could then trumpet to the world without impunity exactly where on the Internet the infringement was taking place.

Gawker could just as effectively have reported the fact that the script was leaked and available on a file upload site without including any specific links to the infringing copy, just as a newspaper can report that a film piracy ring in, e.g., downtown Los Angeles, has obtained and is selling pirated DVDs of a not-yet-released theatrical motion picture without instructing exactly how, where and when readers can illegally buy their own pirated copy.

Keine grosse Ueberraschung, dass ich den Ansichten und der Argumentation von Tarantino's Anwaelten vollkommen zustimme.

Hatte kaum Erwartungen und war super überrascht. Fand ihn super und besser als Django. Den fand ich im Vergleich eher...gewollt.
