Hehe, das ist mein Kater Mikesch! Passt zwar wirklich nicht zu meiner sonstigen Avatar-Vorliebe, aber der muss hier auch mal mit einem Bild vertreten sein... 8)

Das erinnert mich eigentlich eher an das Ende von Resident Evil als an Dawn...

Kenn' ich beide nicht, aber ich schätze "White Zombie" ist ein alter Gruselfilm, sprich kaum interessant .

White Zombie ist meines Wissens nach der erste Zombiefilm der Filmgeschichte, daher schon nicht nur interessant sondern für Fans des Genres eigentlich Pflicht. Ist aus den 30er Jahren und noch schwarz/weiß (ist ja klar). Den würd ich schon mal gerne sehen...
Biozombie ist ein asiatischer Film, soll aber angeblich nicht so empfehlenswert sein.

During the press junket for the upcoming remake of Dawn of the Dead, director Zack Snyder revealed that he had to make more than a few cuts to his film in order to receive an R-rating from the Motion Picture Association of America. "We went back and forth with the MPAA about four or five times before we got our R, but eventually we did," Snyder told reporters. The neophyte filmmaker also promised that the deleted material will appear in an extended version DVD release. "We will do an unrated DVD that will have probably an additional five minutes of gore, and then another five minutes of more character," he said. "Not that anyone wants that, but that's what they're going to get." Dawn of the Dead opens theatrically on March 19th.

Übrigens: In irgendeiner älteren Splatting Image steht ein interessanter Artikel über die Geschichte des Zombiefilms, u.a. eben auch über "White Zombie" und die ganzen Voodooursprünge. Wenns jemanden interessiert, kann ich ja mal nachgucken, welche Nummer das war.

Wäre sehr nett, mach das mal!

Nun fangen wir mal an über die DVD VÖ zu reden.

The Zombie Army site, which apparently you can only access if you're a member of, announced that the disc will most likely be hitting on July 26th, according to one of our great readers. Cause nothing goes with sweltering heat like the rotting dead, that's what I've always said.

No features have been announced as of yet, but Dark Horizons reported from an anonymous source that director Zack Snyder has convinced the suits to allow the movie to be 25 minutes longer (!), and one of the features may be a video diary of Andy the gun shop owner. Nice!
