Bei Walmart heisst Deathgasm nun Heavy Metal ApocalypseDark Sky Films berichtet auf seiner Facebookseite, dass die US-Handelskette Walmart die DVD von Deathgasm nicht ohne Änderungen am Coverlayout in seine Regale stellen kann. Gründe für die Änderung des Titels in Heavy Metal Apocalypse und der Entfernung aller "teuflischen" Symbole wie Pentagrammen liegen anscheinend an der familienfreundlichen Ausrichtung des Unternehmens, deren Standards dies nicht erlauben. Der Film selbst bleibt ungekürzt.As you may have heard, Deathgasm has been re-titled HEAVY METAL APOCALYPSE for Walmart. Nothing else about the film has been changed. It's still the same lovable family movie it was when it was called DEATHGASM. We're happy that Walmart has chosen to stock the film under whatever title and we encourage fans to buy it wherever they choose to (hey, it's a collector's item!) . Please do not use this as an opportunity to bash Walmart, who could have just as easily NOT taken the film. They recognize its quality, but they do have certain standards when it comes to movie/album/book titles that some of their customers may consider risque. If you're looking to buy DEATHGASM under its original title, you can find it starting tomorrow at Best Buy or FYE, and Amazon.com and all other online retailers, of course.
