Matt Damon VS. Monsters In The First Trailer For HERO Director Zhang Yimou’s THE GREAT WALL

The first visially stunning trailer and a batch of stills for Zhang Yimou’s (Hero, House of the Flying Daggers) first English-language blockbuster, The Great Wall, has hit the net.

The story tells the fictional account of the building of one of the wonders of the world. A group of British (nice accent, Matt) soldiers happen upon the Great Wall and soon discover that the Chinese are trying to keep something a lot more terrifying than the Mongols out.

The Great Wall stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, Andy Lau, Jing Tian, Zhang Hanyu, Eddie Peng, Lu Han, Lin Gengxin, Zheng Kai, Chen Xuedong, Huang Xuan and Wang Junkai, and is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2017.
