Auf einer russischen Seite gibt es erste Gerüchte was im dritten Gift Set enthalten sein könnte (offiziell gibt es ja noch nicht einmal einen VÖ Termin):

What will be contained in the gift set of "Return of the King SEE"? The statue included with the set is a well-hidden secret, which will be revealed by the marketing department of New Line by end of July. Speculations about it keep cooking on the Net.

From reliable sources wished to remain anonymous, Henneth Annun got a first description of the gift boxset of RotK SEE:
Attention, spoilers! Only an unconfirmed rumour yet!

The boxset of RotK SEE giftset will be approximately the same size like the "Two Towers" giftset. It will have somewhat dark purple color, with a picture of Gollum on it. The statue inside will be a Sideshow WETA model of Minas Tirith. The statue can be removed from its base - inside is the bonus DVD. The contents of this DVD is still secret - as well as a cover packshot of the set.

Ein Modell von Minas Tirith hatte ich mir ja schon für den zweiten Teil gewünscht... Aber so ein kleines Nazgulchen wäre auch ganz nett gewesen.

Aber... Zwei Discs pro Film, mit beiden Fassungen? Also hoffentlich wird das über Seamless Branching realisiert, sonst geht die Qualität den Bach runter wenn die Extended Edition auf eine Disc gequetscht wird... :?
