Die Produktionsfirma "New Line Cinema" soll den Startschuss schon gegeben haben und es steht einer Produktion nichts mehr im Wege. Für das Drehbuch wurden James Wong und Glen Morgan beauftragt, die schon im ersten Teil mitgewirkt haben. Ein Termin für den Start der Produktion wurde allerdings noch nicht bekannt gegeben.

Good to see New Line Cinema really knows what they're doing, as if that were ever really in question. After months of speculation regarding whether or not we'd be given a third Final Destination film after the sequel did so well at the box office, though not as well as the first, the studio announced today that they're bringing back both James Wong and Glenn Morgan (director and writer of the first, respectively) to create the big 3.

Though no details have come forth as of yet, obviously since it was just announced and probably has not even been written yet, there's been rumors that it might be in 3-D, which would be very freakin' cool with today's technology, and that the "big crash" that begins the film will take place in an amusement park. That would be classic, fiends.

Even though the second one was heavy on the kills, it really lacked the emotion (and re-watch value) that the first one had at it's heart. Now that the originals' creators are back on the scene, we can hope that some of the feeling will be put back in.

Die ersten beiden waren Top!!! Ich freu mich drauf, hab mir Teil 2 endlich ma gekauft ;)

Einer der wenigen Filme bei dem der erste als auch der zweite Teil beide absolut genial waren !
Ich warte auch schon voller Unruhe auf den dritten..  :)

Also den ersten Teil fand ich doch ziemlich bescheiden, um es mal freundlich zu sagen. Von daher musste ich mich schwerstens überreden lassen, mir den Nachfolger anzugucken.
Aber der zweite Teil war dann doch für mich eine ziemlich positive Überraschung. Bin mal gespannt, wenn mehr bekannt wird...

ich fand beide filme sehr genial...wobei mir der zweite noch besser
gefallen hat....

bin sehr auf den 3er gespannt..
