Component konnte maximal 1080i, gelle?
ganz klar jaein!
"Although interestingly enough, officially the component video standard, which is five years old (CEA specification, CEA-770.3-rev C) does not support 1080p, and only 720p / 1080i.
Many people and AV installers have found out that good old component cables do support and work with 1080p just fine, and are asking for the CEA to update the video standard to include 1080p.
Popular gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 support 1080p over component video, which is used throughout games, but if playing back an AACS protected movie they will only output 1080i, in an attempt to keep the video pirates away."
@Alex
@Markus
