Wollte ich auch grad sagen! Vielleicht tut es der Reihe ja gut wenn Cameron wieder dabei ist, egal in welcher Form.

Nachdem die ersten 45 Minuten von Genesis so geil waren hatte ich ja noch Hoffnung, aber mittlerweile will ich da nix Neues mehr. Solche Filme in der Qualität werden einfach nicht mehr gemacht.

Cameron, who will regain the Terminator rights in 2019, is producing the new film series which has Deadpool director Tim Miller and David Ellison of Skydance teaming up.

“As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return,” Cameron said at the fan event, adding that now “there are 50-year old, 60-year old guys out there killing bad guys” in movies, “but there isn’t an example of that for women.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger was previously revealed to be returning as well. He and Linda Hamilton starred together in both the original Terminator in 1984 and the 1991 sequel.

THR adds that Cameron and Miller are treating the new movie as a direct sequel to Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

“We’re starting a search for an 18-something woman to be the new centerpiece of the new story,” Cameron said. “We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it.”

Evil:
Ich mag alle Terminator Teile! Auch den letzten. Jason Clarke hätte ich gerne noch mal als John Connor ( und nie wieder Nick Stahl!).
Sam Worthington als Cyborg fand ich damals ebenfalls sehr gelungen.
Aus Terminator kann man noch einiges herausholen. Am besten sollte der 6 Teil noch etwas weiter in der Zukunft spielen. Vielleicht was mit John Connors Nachfahren... Es müßen eben ein paar neue Ideen her. Und kein Remake auf jeden Fall.
Was ich allerdings arg lumpig fand, war die Serie Sarah Connor Chronickles.

Nun ja, ich lass mich da mal überraschen.
Ich finde an den heutigen Filme mangelt es an neuen Ideen.
Es ist eben schon viel gutes da gewesen, da wird es in den kommenden Jahrzenten auch immer schwieriger werden, die Leute zu begeistern.

Irgendwann schaue ich mir wohl mal den 5. Teil an, aber ich brauche ehrlich gesagt nicht unbedingt eine weitere Fortsetzung.
Ich gehöre aber auch zu denen, die mit Teil 4 absolut zufrieden sind.
