"Diamond Dead" soll ein Rock'n' Roll Horror Film werden.

Der Shock : Marylin manson als Jesus - Amerika will wieder diesn Film verhindern....und Romero hat den nächsten Skandal...ob der "Land of the Dead" mit pushen kann ?

Kult-Regisseur George A. Romero dreht gerade einen schwarzhumorigen Film namens "Diamond Dead", in dem das Christentum alles andere als gut wegkommt, und hat ausgerechnet den selbsternannten Antichristen Marilyn Manson als Darsteller eines rauchenden und saufenden Jesus angeheuert. Es läuft bereits eine Online-Petition, um die Produktion des Films zu stoppen.

Nun - der Mann macht sehr wenig. Als Independent Filmer hat mans selbst in den USA nicht leicht. Der Mann hat die gleichen Probleme wie viele andere Filme macher.
Lassen wir uns mal überraschen....

Ob Romero den Film dreht ist mittlerweile nicht mehr sicher.
Anfangs war alles klar gewesen udn auch die Finanzierung des Filmes stand schon, doch da bekam Romero die Finanzierung für seinen "Land of the Dead" zusammen udn will diesen erstmal im Oktober drehen und dann im Frühjar "Diamond Dead".
So das Problem ist jetzt das die Produzenten nicht wissen ob sie die Finanzierung für "Diamond Dead" bis zum nächsten Jahr halten können, schaffen sie es nicht muss ein anderer Regisseur schnell her.

So siehts aktuell um den Film aus ^^

Ich bin sehr gespannt auf den Film.

Marilyn Manson hat vor kurzem erst in einen Film mitgewirkt. Der Film ist von Asia Argento, oder sie spielt zumindestens mit. Hier einige Screens:








Der Film heißt "The Heart is Deceitful above all Things".
Ich bin, wie gesagt, mal sehr gespannt. An Manson und Romero habe ich hohe Erwartungen. 8)

George A. Romero's LAND OF THE DEAD: Last week the Post Gazette reported that it's now official, Dead will be rolling cameras in Toronto, Canada. Atmosphere Entertainment president Bernie Goldmann confirmed the news after speculations arose that location scouts were eyeing not only Toronto and Pittsburgh but Vancouver and Africa as well. Goldmann's company is producing the film and says that the decision was based on monetary factors.

So yes, I'm going to have to release it R-rated, but they want me to shoot it they way I want to. And if there are scenes where I can't cut some of the gore out, I'm going to have to shoot a softer version. But in Japan and later videos and all that shit, they want the hard stuff. I'm satisfied that I'll get the make the movie I want. I'm hoping fans will go see it anyway, and then go check out the DVD.

widerspricht das nicht Romeros ursprünglicher Promisse, so zu drehen wie er will?

Hatte er nicht mal behauptet, wenn nicht so wie er will, dann lieber nicht?

Ich mein gut, wenn man auf DVD dann die unrated bekommt, dann macht das mir nichts aus

Nee, das ist Asia Argento... das ist aber auch ein ganz anderer Film, als "Diam
ond Dead".

Ist schon klar, nur sah Asia auf dem letzten Bild der Courtney Love sehr ähnlich .

Also auch wenn ich Manson nicht mag, der Film könnte interessant werden (wobei Varg Vikernes wohl noch geiler wäre in der Rolle des Jesus ).

Zu "Land of the Dead" : DER ist mir wirklich wichtiger 8) Und wenn Romero drehen kann wie er will, dann wird die DVD sicherlich ein Ereignis Und für das Kino eine softere Fassung : Ist doch okay, macht so mehr Geld und gerade das könnte Romero helfen, wieder einen etwas besseren Ruf zu kriegen.

George A. Romero's LAND OF THE DEAD: Variety reports that Universal Pictures has acquired George Romero's LAND OF THE DEAD and will release the film on October 11, 2005. LAND will complete the studio's zombie trifecta, after their DAWN OF THE DEAD remake and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, the latter of which Universal helped finance and then moved over to sister company Rogue Pictures. Fangoria has also learned the start date for filming: October 21. Romero has been casting in Toronto, where LAND will lens, for the last five weeks. So far, screen heavy Dennis (BLUE VELVET) Hopper has taken a role as a villain in the film, while the producers are negotiating to fill four other key roles with LA-based actors.
